|It was the summer of 2003 and MP3.com's active message board community was heating up as well -- with flame wars.
Along came Chaz Fanaro, looking to cut through the negative noise. He began to interview many of the musical artists who pitched a tent on the popular indie music forum. Others pitched in with questions of their own. July of 2003 could have turned ugly, but thanks to the interviews blanketing the forum, it became a home for insight and mutual respect.
The forums were wiped clean by Vivendi in December, 2003. The interviews live on.

As one of the leading NMA's, you still promote artists despite the loss of P4P. What is your reward?
The Description of RSM has changed a little as I have expanded our services and added a few more features:
Award Winning Music to support many Listener and Licensor needs. CD Boutique, Free MP3s, Custom Music CD and Artist page Artwork Design
To answer your question:
The rewards are helping the Indie realize some new potentials for their music and hopefully we will all benefit a little more financially in the future.
REEL SOUND of MUSIC maintains that with the Internet and other opportunities available to musicians today, Music Licensing is growing; we have more events, channels, Films, commercials, etc. and it's more music-intensive than ever before. Our goal is to promote and make more readily available great music to meet the Listener and Licensor needs.
I am currently in plans for a promotional project to coincide with the 'Hamptons Film Festival' to be held this October in East Hampton, NY. to promote the Indie Artist's Music for Film and to promote the CD Boutique to help sell their CDs. I have Volunteered to work for the Festival in past years and have been fortunate to meet to meet Martin Scorsasee, Robert DeNiro, Steven Spielberg, just to name a few. So you never know who could get their hands on our music
You do not have to be a current member of RSM to get involved in this or the CD Boutique. So if anyone is interested please email me through the 'Contact' tab on the RSM Sites.

How did you first become interested in music, and do you play an instrument?
How many artists pages have you designed?
