|It was the summer of 2003 and MP3.com's active message board community was heating up as well -- with flame wars.
Along came Chaz Fanaro, looking to cut through the negative noise. He began to interview many of the musical artists who pitched a tent on the popular indie music forum. Others pitched in with questions of their own. July of 2003 could have turned ugly, but thanks to the interviews blanketing the forum, it became a home for insight and mutual respect.
The forums were wiped clean by Vivendi in December, 2003. The interviews live on.

One Angry Swede is one guy with a few guitars, a drum machine, a 4 track and a marginal amount of ability (at best) to use any of them. I play and write music for the HELL of it - to entertain primarily myself and my friends and family.
Lo-fi original hard rock
Malcolm Young, Angus Young, Bon Scott, George Young
AC/DC , Motorhead, Nashville Pussy
Modestly skilled "hobby only" rhythm guitarist spends years listening to classic hard rock, reading guitar magazine tab transcriptions, and worshipping Angus & Malcolm Young. Somehow it all clicked in the year 2001 and the transformation began. A prolific songwriting period followed an upgrade in musical equipment and the realization that creating music is much more fulfilling than simply attempting to play a recognizable version of someone else's. The creation of FatCat Records and the release of several self produced albums of original material completes the journey.
R.E.Dahlgren : Guitars, vocals, percussion.

GARAGEBAND.COM REVIEW OF WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR NOTHING: "The lyrics are great and I like the guys voice. It does my heart good to know there are still some bands out there that could care less how polished they are as long as they can rock!" Reviewed by: JustinBLC from Bluff City, Tennessee

What are your goals and what do you have planned for your music?
GOALS: TO continue making music for MY pleasure. Not out to be a superstar (i dont have the talent). If others like the tunes, thats great, but not necessary for my "success".
Thanks for listening.

Have you ever played live?
One Angry Swede
Have not played live. Studio musician only. Occasional "live" performances in the studio for a select audience. Being a "one man band" restricts the live renditions of complete songs.
